Questions, answered.
The short version: you apply, we provide a rideshare-ready car, and you drive with the apps on your own schedule.
Do I need my own car?
No. Once you're approved, we provide a vehicle that meets rideshare app requirements for a weekly rate.
Am I an employee of Rush Hour Connect?
No. You drive with rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft as an independent contractor, and the apps pay you directly. Rush Hour Connect provides the vehicle. We aren't affiliated with Uber, Lyft or any rideshare app.
How much can I earn?
Earnings are set and paid by the apps and vary by city, hours, demand and the app you drive for. Our estimate of $900–$1,200 a week is for full-time driving, before the weekly car cost, fuel and other expenses.
How much does the car cost?
Ask our team for the current weekly rate and what's included.
What about insurance?
Ask our team what coverage comes with your car and what, if anything, you need to add.
Who can apply?
You must be 25 or older with a valid driver's license. Uber and Lyft also run their own background and driving-record checks when you sign up with them.
Which apps can I drive for?
We work with rideshare drivers on apps like Uber and Lyft. Tell us which you plan to drive for when you apply, and we'll set you up with a car that qualifies.
How fast can I start?
It depends on how quickly we can review your application and which cars are available. Tell us when you'd like to start and we'll aim for that date.
What do I need to apply?
You must be 25 or older and have a valid driver's license, a phone number and an email. See how to apply.
